How To Replace 20in x 4in Knobby Electric Folding Fat Bike Tires With Smooth Road Tires

Most 20in folding electric fat bikes come with knobby tires. Realistically, most of these bikes will only be ridden on smooth roads, easy gravel trails, and sandy beaches, none of which need knobby mountain bike tires. The knobby tires increase noise and rolling resistance, which decreases battery life and range. Even a slick 20in x 4in fat bike tire has much more grip than a normal tire, especially if run at a lower pressure.

After much soul searching... I mean internet sleuthing... I found that the best replacement tires for a 20in x 4in fat bike would be the Vee Tire Speedster e-bike-rated tires. These are very high-quality tires by a reputable manufacturer.

They are also available in all black or in white walls. I picked the whitewall, which complemented the bike's white aesthetic and fenders.
