WAYDOO eFoil Flyer One and One+ Modifications, Maintenance and Repairs
Waydoo eFlyer One was launched on presold on Kickstarter.
The earliest models of the Waydoo Flyer One had a structural design flaw with the mount for the front wing. The early models had 2 bolts holding the fuselage to the mast next to the front wing. This created a weakness in the fuselage that could cause it to crack and break there. A reinforcement bracket was sent out to customers that helped support and reinforce that area. Later models of the Waydoo Flyer One corrected and fixed the problem by redesigning the connection with a single screw.
