How To Repair Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board Blown Out Seam | NAISH Crossover iSUP Fix SUP
My NAISH Crossover inflatable paddle board exploded at the seam only minutes after inflating it to a modest 12psi (It's rated up to 20psi). It was in partial shade, and had not sat out in the sun long enough to get hot and compromise the glue joint. It sucked. And what sucked even worse was the response from NAISH that they wouldn't do anything to replace it because it was 1.5 years since I had purchased it, and their warranty is only 1 year. They offered a measly 15% off a new one. Looks like I'll never be buying or recommending another NAISH product.
The NAISH Crossover is a unique board that is designed for windsurfing and wing surfing. It has a center board attachement, and a windsurfing mast attachment. I did not want to lose this board, so I decided to attempt to repair it myself.

The only special material needed to repair this blow out is a good quality PVC glue. HH-66 is universally recommended as the best PVC glue to repair paddleboards and other PVC water sports equipment, like rafts.

HOW'S IT HOLDING UP???
As of the writing of this post, the paddle board has been used regularly for 6 months without any issues. I was worried that the rest of the seams will be weak but that doesn't seem to be the case. I'm only inflating it to 12 PSI (same as when it exploded) and not trying to push it any further. Even at 12 PSI it's still plenty rigid for wing surfing.
