I would like a compact 3D printer that can fit in a small case to make it easy to transport. There are some compact DIY printer designs, but I want to use a reliable printer, not something experimental.
The BAMBU A1 MINI has an extremely good reputation and could be a good candidate for making the Z axis fold to make it more compact.
Removing the Z axis column of the BAMBU A1 MINI is not very convenient, but it looks it is possible to access the screws from underneath and by drilling some holes through the housing.
