Laser Engraving Maple Whiskey Bottle Stoppers

Jason Prigmore Woodworks http://www.jasonprigmore.com/ approached us about laser engraving hundreds of custom, hand made bottle stoppers. First we made some samples for them to show to the customer. We went through several revisions of the design before the customer was ready to do the large run. The laser engraving topped off the amazing hand crafting that Jason did. A lot of work went into each and everyone of these stoppers. We also engraved his company name on the underside.

We made a custom fixture to precisely hold the stoppers during engraving. It also had to accommodate for the variances in diameter of a hand made (turned on a lathe) product. This was surprisingly tricky, but we were able to laser the engravings right on the mark.
