I first started drying 3D printer filaments in the oven. Then I upgraded to a Print Dry unit that was basically a modified dehydrator. It was nice because you could dry and print from 2 spools simultaneously. This didn't solve keeping filament dry in storage.

These are the least expensive, clear, airtight containers that can be used to store and dispense filament.

Airtight cereal storage set with 6 clear labeled containers holding oats, pasta, cereal and flour, plus pour spouts and labels.

WHERE TO BUY:

MOISTURE METER (Hygrometer)

At first I started using digital hygrometers that display moisture and temp. The problem is that the batteries only last a year or so, and then your left with replacing a lot of batteries. Eventually you get battery replacement fatigue and stop replacing the batteries.
